  • We are more than just our thoughts. Many of my clients come to me after years of spinning their wheels with traditional talk therapy. I use the most current research to guide my practice with clients to explore how our minds and bodies are deeply connected. Using somatic therapies such as EMDR we can reprocess experiences in our past that continue to recreate unhelpful patterns in our current lives. Through this way of processing, we not only begin to think about our experiences differently but we begin to feel differently as well.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic approach to help alleviate emotional pain caused by disturbing life experiences. This type of therapy uses bilateral stimulation (eye movements or tapping on both sides of the body) to help the mind heal emotional wounds.

Many of my clients feel relief from symptoms after as little as one session using EMDR compared to traditional talk therapy, which can take much longer.
